The property sits at 1-45 Honmachi, Higashiyama-ku, just across Gojo Ohashi Bridge and a one-minute walk from Kiyomizu-Gojo Station on the Keihan line. Guests reach Kiyomizu-dera Temple in about 20 minutes on foot, Yasaka Shrine and the Gion district within walking distance, and Kyoto Station in roughly 10 minutes by taxi. The seven-storey building blends modern comforts with references to traditional Kyoto culture through tatami layouts in select rooms and bathing-culture details.
Kyoto is strongest in April and November because tourism guidance highlights cherry blossoms in spring and autumn foliage in mid-to-late November, while climate sources describe these shoulder-season months as generally mild and drier than the rainy, humid summer period.
Kyoto enters the rainy season in June and early July, then has hot, humid summer weather through August and a higher typhoon-season risk in September, which can make travel less comfortable and more disruptive.
