“The DoubleTree by Hilton Madrid Principe de Vergara is a forthcoming upscale full-service hotel in Madrid’s affluent Salamanca district, scheduled to open in late 2026 with 155 rooms.”
Located at Calle Príncipe de Vergara 92, the hotel will sit in Salamanca, one of Madrid’s most prestigious neighborhoods known for its elegant residences, high-end restaurants, designer boutiques, and polished cafés. It will offer easy access to business districts along the major Príncipe de Vergara axis as well as quick connections to key sights, with the Auditorio Nacional de Música, Plaza de Cibeles, Prado Museum, and Retiro Park all within about a 10-minute drive. Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport is projected to be roughly a 15-minute drive away.
March to May and September to October offer mild temperatures around 15–24°C/60–75°F and relatively low rainfall, ideal for sightseeing and often cheaper than peak summer.
July and August should be avoided because average highs frequently exceed 32–35°C (90–95°F), with heatwaves over 40°C/104°F, making sightseeing uncomfortable; this peak-summer period also brings higher prices and heavier crowds.
