Hyatt House Schenectady / Mohawk Harbor is a new-build, apartment-style hotel at 121 Harborside Drive in Schenectady, set within the Mohawk Harbor waterfront development on the Mohawk River. Opened in February 2026 as the first Hyatt House in Schenectady, it has 100 guestrooms, including 51 apartment-style suites designed for longer stays. The setting is a major part of the appeal: guests are steps from Rivers Casino & Resort and the harbor’s restaurants, marina, event spaces, and riverside trails. The hotel is also positioned for access to downtown Schenectady, Union College, Proctors theatre, and M&T Bank Center, making it useful for both leisure weekends and business travel in the Capital Region. Public spaces include The Commons, a relaxed lounge overlooking the marina, and an Outdoor Hub with seating and a grill. Practical amenities include an indoor pool, 24-hour fitness center, 24-hour guest laundry, complimentary hot breakfast, free Wi-Fi, free self-parking, and an electric vehicle charging station. Rooms lean residential, especially the suites, which are described with fully equipped kitchens, cozy living rooms, separate sleeping areas, full closets, and modern bathrooms. The property does not have a traditional club lounge, but it does offer a broad extended-stay setup in a walkable waterfront location.
This published accessible den room is about 250 square feet and has calming Mohawk River views. It includes a king bed, sofa bed, accessible bathroom with tub and grab bars, and modern in-room technology.

The hotel has apartment-style suites intended for longer stays, with residential features beyond a standard hotel room. Official materials describe suites with fully equipped kitchens, living rooms, spacious bedrooms, closets, and modern bathrooms.
