The 440-room property, including 50 suites across nine floors and last renovated in 2016, offers many rooms with views over Portman Square Garden. Interiors reflect quintessentially British style with clean, contemporary lines and understated nods to Winston Churchill. Guest rooms and suites feature Molton Brown amenities, while select Churchill-inspired theme suites include additional services such as limousine transfers and garden access. The property maintains a sophisticated business focus with extensive meeting facilities and a 24-hour front desk. Dining options include The Montagu for British and European comfort food in an open kitchen, the award-winning Italian restaurant Locanda Locatelli, and The Churchill Bar for cocktails and whiskies. Additional facilities comprise a spa with massage and facial treatments, a modern 24/7 fitness center, a garden and terrace, and an on-site tennis court. The Regency Club functions as a hotel-within-a-hotel lounge offering snacks, drinks, and evening hors d’oeuvres.
Mild temperatures, relatively low rainfall, fewer crowds, better award availability, and lower prices during spring and early autumn off-season periods.
Peak season brings significantly higher hotel and flight prices and heavy crowds, including Wimbledon and school holidays; December holiday events also push room rates up despite cool, wet winter conditions.
