The hotel occupies two buildings with 239 rooms over six floors and opened in 2022. Rooms feature contemporary design with some Japanese touches, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and options for king or twin beds that include a fold-out chair or sofa bed. Some rooms offer views of the on-site garden, and the property maintains a non-smoking policy throughout. Public spaces include a lobby lounge, restaurant, coffee shop, and bar, along with a 24-hour fitness center. A buffet breakfast with Western and Japanese options is available for purchase. Additional amenities comprise laundry facilities, a snack bar, coworking space, and a garden. The location provides convenient subway connections to Kyoto Station in about 10 minutes and easy access to downtown areas like Kawaramachi Street.
When to go.
Kyoto is strongest in April and November because tourism guidance highlights cherry blossoms in spring and autumn foliage in mid-to-late November, while climate sources describe these shoulder-season months as generally mild and drier than the rainy, humid summer period.
Kyoto enters the rainy season in June and early July, then has hot, humid summer weather through August and a higher typhoon-season risk in September, which can make travel less comfortable and more disruptive.
