Andaz Lisbon occupies a landmark building in the lively Baixa neighborhood at R. do Comércio 132. The property blends the retained historic exterior with a completely modernized interior featuring Portuguese craftsmanship, colorful tiles, cork accents, mahogany wood, and cheerful pops of color throughout public spaces and the 170 guest rooms. Core amenities include a rooftop restaurant and bar called Luzzi offering city and Tagus river views, an Andaz Lounge in the lobby, a fitness center with Technogym equipment, 24-hour room service, free high-speed Wi-Fi, and concierge services. A spa with restorative amenities and in-room treatments is planned to open soon. The hotel participates in World of Hyatt, allowing members to earn points on stays, access member rates, and receive elite recognition perks such as potential room upgrades depending on status.
When to go.
Shoulder-season months offer warm but not hot sightseeing weather around 18–23°C, low rainfall, long daylight, and are recommended for city walks and cultural activities while avoiding peak-summer crowds and prices.
July and especially August bring peak summer heat with average highs around 28–30°C, occasional very hot days, the year’s highest visitor crowds, and higher hotel rates.
